For my A2 Media coursework, I am going to work with Kennedy Hamer-Kiwacz and Tyler Hopkinson. These are the same people that I worked with for my AS coursework. We all worked well together and were able to meet outside of school to get work done when we needed to.
We are going to create a preliminary piece to practice shots for our music video, lip-syncing to the song and the conventions of a music video. For our preliminary piece we have decided to use the song "What's My Age Again?" by the pop-punk band, Blink 182. We picked this song because it has easy lyrics and because we are familiar with the song. We decided on the pop-punk genre because it is a genre that we like, and also considered other pop-punk bands such as Sum 41, Bowling For Soup and Four Year Strong.
Another of Blink 182's videos is for their song "All The Small Things".
Their videos all have different styles but usually have an element of performance rather than just narrative.
